The Barrington Boar boasts a handsome upstairs Private Dining Room available for day and evening events. It is perfect for rehearsal wedding dinners, grown-up birthday parties, family lunches, and business meetings. Seating up to 24 guests, our team can arrange customised meals ranging from selections on our current à la carte menu to more bespoke tasting options.
For larger gatherings, we can arrange a full takeover of The Barrington Boar. Our main restaurant area downstairs seats up to 50 guests for an exclusive event, while our garden space is ideal for pre-dinner drinks or relaxing after your meal.
We are happy to help with decorations and can recommend trusted florists to assist. Celebration cakes can be organised with our bakery next door, and personalised menus, place names, and table plans are all available upon request.

Upstairs Private Dining Room:
Capacity: Max 24 over 3 tables of 8. Up 18 can be accommodated on 1 large table.
Requirements: Card details are required upon booking. 2026 minimum spend is £900 plus a 10% service charge on Friday & Saturday Dinner & Saturday & Sunday Lunch. Bookings cancelled less than 2 weeks before would incur a £20 charge per person. If the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the whole £900 is due.
A pre-order is required for all private dining bookings. There is a 2-course minimum per person. A menu will be sent to you 2 weeks before the booking. Please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements so that they can be accommodated into the menu.
We will require the menu choices for each person a minimum of 4 days ahead.
Please note the private dining room is upstairs with no wheelchair access.
Full take Over of the Barrington Boar
Capacity: 50 over 5 tables of 8-12.
Requirements: Card details are required upon booking and a deposit of £1200 is due 1 month before the event. 2026 minimum spend is £4000 plus a 10% service charge on for a Dinner & £2500 plus 10% service Lunch. Bookings cancelled less than 4 weeks before will not have the deposit refunded. Bookings cancelled less than 2 week before the event would incur the full minimum spend.
