The Barrington Boar Private Dining Room Booking Information & Terms.
Our private dining room is now available for dinner parties up to 24 people.
There is no hire charge for the room. On Friday & Saturday evening & Sunday lunch there is a minimum spend of £900 plus a 10% service charge applies. If the minimum spend is not met, the difference will be added to the final bill as room hire.
We will take card details at the time of booking and hold these securely. A link will be sent to collect these details via our booking system. If these are not filled in within one week of the booking being made it will be cancelled automatically.
- If the whole booking is cancelled within 2 weeks of the booking a charge of £20 per person will be charged to the card on file.
- Any reductions in the number of guests within 24 hours of the booking will result in an £20 fee per reduced guest. This will be charged to the card on file.
- We will charge your card without prior warning.
Filling out the card details confirms you have read and accepted the terms and conditions of booking.
Groups of 15 or more people will require you to use our private dining room. The dining room is also available for less numbers on request.
A pre-order is required for all private dining bookings. There is a 2-course minimum per person. A reduced menu will be sent to you 2 weeks before the booking. Please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements so that they can be accommodated into the menu.
We will require the menu choices for each person a minimum of 4 days ahead. The menu will be accompanied by a spreadsheet that we require to be filled in, detailing what each person is having. This will enable us to serve everybody with their choices without any confusion.
We will also send you a wine list. If you would like one particular wine, please let us know so that we have sufficient stock available. We only hold a limited number of certain wines and if you would like more than a couple of bottles it is best to let us know the Sunday before the booking.
A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to the final bill. The balance (after the deduction of the deposit paid) is payable at the end of the party - by credit/debit card or cash.
Please make sure that your party arrives promptly at the agreed booking time! If you would like pre-meal drinks then please arrive 30-40 minutes early so that we can have you seated promptly at the agreed booking time. A delay with one party can affect the dining experience of all subsequent guests and may result in you having to wait until other parties have been served. Tables for lunch party bookings need to be vacated by 4.30pm so that we can prepare the restaurant for dinner service.
